Cardano (ADA) Gaming Goes Cross-Chain with New Layer 2 Network Integration

Cardano (ADA) Gaming Goes Cross-Chain with New Layer 2 Network Integration

Thanks to a new cross-chain network integration from Paima Studios, Cardano (ADA) blockchain users will now be able to play on-chain games using their ADA tokens. This effectively enables Cardano users to play blockchain-based games without bridging tokens to other networks.

Some of the greatest attacks in 2022 serve as a reminder of the considerable security dangers associated with bridging tokens between various blockchains. Every game is guaranteed to be non-custodial thanks to the integration, which prevents users from having to transfer money from their wallets to the games.

Paima Studios’ integration with Cardano enables games created on other networks to move to the Cardano blockchain in addition to enhancing gaming security. Users of those networks can now play Cardano-based games without moving any assets or bridge tokens thanks to this capability.

This integration’s launch is the most recent in a line of network enhancements and functionality for the Cardano blockchain. After the recent launch of a new functionality by Milkomeda, a layer-2 network, users of the Cardano blockchain will soon be able to access Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) smart contracts with any ADA wallet.

Interestingly, Milkmomeda and Paima Studios appear to have received funding from the Cardano Treasury, which gave each business $40,000 to support the expansion of the Cardano ecosystem.

Large investors, sometimes known as “whales,” have increased their buying activities in ADA, as CryptoGlobe previously reported. Over the past month, these significant token holders have added a total of 150 million tokens.

Blockchain analytics site IntoTheBlock data supplied by cryptocurrency expert Ali Martinez shows that Cardano whales have between 1 million and 10 million In just a few weeks, ADA have amassed more over $57 million worth of the native currency of the smart contract platform.
