- Cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced in its statement that users holding the Binance Coin BNB will benefit from airdrops.
Cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced that it has launched a special airdrop program for BNB holders. The program, called “HODLer Airdrop”, will reward users who subscribe to Simple Earn using their BNB assets with airdrop tokens.
These tokens will be issued by projects with a large circulating supply that aim to be listed on Binance in the near future.
To benefit from HODLer Airdrops, users need to go to the ‘Earn’ section on Binance and search for BNB. They can then subscribe to Simple Earn products (Flexible and/or Locked) using their BNB holdings.
Binance will release an announcement before the airdrop of a new token begins. Snapshots of user balances and total pool balances will be taken multiple times at any point during each hour to calculate users’ hourly average balances across Simple Earn products (Flexible and/or Locked).
For example, for HODLer Airdrops on June 11, 2024, snapshots of user balances from June 1 to June 7, 2024 can be used as reference in reward calculation.
Eligible users will receive HODLer Airdrop rewards in their Spot Wallet within 24 hours after HODLer Airdrops are announced.
The airdropped token will be automatically transferred to each user’s Spot Wallet before the token is listed on Binance Spot.
