F2Pool, Poolin, and Antpool Launches ETHW mining pools

According to their respective websites, the mining pools F2Pool, Poolin, and Antpool have started their ETHW (EthereumPoW) mining pools. A few other significant mining pools have also stated that they support mining the fork token.

The remaining hashrate in F2Pool’s ETH pool gets transferred to its ETHW mining pool, the company announced on Thursday. Bitmain’s partner in China, Antpool, recently announced the opening of their ETHW mining pool.

According to its website and a sales manager, Poolin has also made their mining pool accessible for ETHW.

At least 23 mining pools will support ETHW mining, according to a blog post published on Wednesday by ETHW, whose mainnet opened on Thursday.

The “Merge” of the Ethereum network was finished on Thursday, however some miners have formed a fork called ETHW to maintain the old network.

According to MiningPoolStats data, as of 11 a.m. on Friday, Hong Kong time, F2Pool is the largest ETHW mining pool by hashrate, followed by Woolypooly.com and 2miners.com.
