1M ENS names validated

The demand for Ethereum Name Service (ENS) domains has exploded. A four-digit ENS domain name costs roughly 0.5 ETH, which is over $1,450 at current market values. Users hurried to buy three- and four-digit names, which were in short supply. Furthermore, after April 21, the number of ethnic name registrations increased dramatically.

Report Card for April 2022

The leading NFT project, ENS, had acquired about a 100 percent increase in the previous 24 hours at the time of publishing on May 2. According to data from OpenSea, it increased by over 4400 percent in just a week.

As mentioned in the 2 May tweet, ENS has attained the amazing ‘1M ENS’ names milestone.

Moving on from the current price to the previous one, ENS has compiled some outstanding data. There were approximately 163k new registrations (a total of 990k names) shown. The following observation from Dune Analytics emphasizes the same point.

In April of this year, 38k new eth accounts with at least one ENS name (total 387k) were formed on OpenSea, with over 4,000 ETH in secondary.

On the 2nd of May, the team presented or rather summarized the April 2022 report card. The results, to say the least, were excellent.

The ENS NFTs recently saw a spike in volume, continuing the trend. Indeed, on April 28, the daily transaction volume on NFT marketplace OpenSea surpassed that of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC).
