Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, says on Friday that Dogecoin may be to purchase all Tesla items. It may use dogecoin to purchase items ranging in price from $50 to $1,900, according to Musk.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla Inc, announced on Tuesday that the electric vehicle maker would accept dogecoin as a form of payment for a limited time.

More so, Musk tweets, “Tesla will make select things purchasable with Doge and see how it works.”

Memecoin’s value had surged 5,859 percent over the preceding year. Dogecoins, which start at $50 and go up to $1,900, can be used to purchase a wide range of items.

Notably, Tesla sells clothes, belt buckles with the “Giga Texas” insignia, miniature replicas of its vehicles, and even a “Cyberwhistle,” a novelty item inspired by the much-anticipated Cybertruck.

He was named “Person of the Year” by Time magazine in 2021. In a recent magazine interview, he defends dogecoin and claims that it is superior for transactions. Then, He continues, “Bitcoin is not a good solution for trade.”
