In response to the statement, XRPL PUNKS stated that the transaction took place during a VC Discord online auction with more than 20 participants. The person who purchased the NFT at such a high price was not made public by XRPL PUNKS. The Punks collection, commonly known as Xpunks, is one of the most well-liked collections on XRPL.
In response to the official statement from onXRP, XRPL PUNKS stated:
“Was an open auction with over 20 people in VC in Discord. We don’t want to disclose the buyer’s name, but the community knows who it is :)”
The NFT line project pays homage to the NFT line’s CryptoPunks collection, which is already renowned. Since the eagerly awaited XLS-20 update was recently added to XRPL, only Xpunks have traded 1.78 million XRPs.
