Quantum Blockchain Technologies Plc

(“QBT” or “the Company”)

Update on Method C AI Oracle Testing

Quantum Blockchain Technologies plc (AIM: QBT), the AIM-listed investment company focused principally on a research and development programme within blockchain technology, provides a further update on the development of its Method C AI Oracle software for the ASIC manufacturer’s mining rig.

Further to the announcement on 8 July 2026, the Company confirms that its R&D team has completed the work required to adapt the AI Oracle’s learning models to the ASIC specific operating system and ASIC’s distinct rolling architecture, which differs materially from that of the Company’s Bitaxe Gamma on which the Oracle was originally developed. This adaptation required the underlying learning models to be reconfigured, rather than simply retrained, to reflect the different statistical characteristics of the data generated by the ASIC manufacturer’s mining rig. This successful implementation represents a difficult achievement of the completion of a key milestone.

Following the completion of the adaptation, the Company carried out a series of experiments to evaluate the performance and robustness of its retrained AI models. These experiments produced encouraging results, showing a consistent AI Oracle advantage over traditional mining across the test windows evaluated to date. The Company considers this a positive and meaningful outcome, and further testing will continue to verify the robustness of the model over time.

The Company gave a formal presentation to the ASIC manufacturer on 28 July 2026, to report on the progress achieved to date and to advise that an initial AI model has now been implemented as a starting point, from which further improvements will be made. A further update with the ASIC manufacturer is scheduled for the coming weeks, by which time more data is expected to be available and model performance is expected to have improved further, with the aim of reaching the level of performance previously achieved for the Bitaxe Gamma.

The Company continues its work of porting the AI Oracle directly onto the ASIC manufacturer’s mining rig. This will follow completion of live testing on the ASIC manufacturer’s Mining Development Kit (“MDK”). This work has focused on compressing the Oracle’s implementation, and the testing of a compressed version has already demonstrated a significant improvement in processing speed, an encouraging step towards running the AI Oracle directly on the mining rig’s own hardware.

The Company’s near-term priorities are to confirm the robustness of its improved AI models as further data becomes available, to continue widening the training data used and to progress the compression and optimisation of the AI Oracle for deployment on the mining rig. The Company will provide further updates in due course in relation to its live demonstration to the ASIC manufacturer of the AI Oracle.

Francesco Gardin, CEO and Executive Chairman of QBT, commented:

“We are pleased with the progress made in adapting our AI models to the ASIC manufacturer’s mining rig. Our latest models are now showing a consistent advantage over traditional mining across independent test periods and we have also made encouraging progress in compressing the AI Oracle for direct deployment on the mining rig itself.

There remains further work to do before we are ready for live testing, in particular confirming that our results remain robust over the long-term, which is a crucial element to producing a commercially viable software product. We are pleased with the direction of travel we have made so far and look forward to updating the market as we approach our live demonstration.”
