Bitcoin Get Past $68,500, Hits New All Time Record High

Bitcoin, the oldest and biggest cryptocurrency, set a new record high of $68,564 on the Bitstamp exchange at 3:58 a.m. UTC.

Notably, It is seeing an 11.73% increase since the start of November. Of course, that’s after bitcoin amasses a 42.26% price increase in October.

More so, The top cryptocurrency, bitcoin, is now worth $1.289 trillion. Also, it’s currently close to surpassing the market cap of silver.

Currently, BTC market dominance spikes to 43.8% due to the price increase.

Furthermore, bitcoin touched $67,000 for the first time on Oct. 20.
That’s, after ProShares’s “BITO” ETF launch in the U.S.

Also, BTC has seen quick recovery after seeing 15% correction.

Lastly, this recent surge of course comes after Digital Currency Group CEO Barry Silbert jokes about “a big week” for the cryptocurrency market.
