Coinbase and Binance Surprise Support for an Ethereum-based Altcoin

Best cryptocurrency exchanges A brand-new altcoin aimed at growing the Web3 industry has been listed on Binance and Coinbase.

Project Galaxy (GAL) describes itself as the world’s largest Web3 credential data network, with a native token that went live on Thursday and is now trading for $18.07 at the time of writing.

In the last 24 hours, Project Galaxy has increased by more than 22%.

With a “experimental label,” Coinbase enabled support for Project Galaxy.

“New asset: Coinbase will add support for Project Galaxy (GAL) with the Experimental label.”

Coinbase labels new projects with limited trading volume as experimental to alert traders to their potential volatility.

GAL was also added to Binance’s “Innovation Zone,” a dedicated trading location for assets that are more susceptible to fast price changes.

“Binance is excited to announce the 30th project on Binance Launchpool – Project Galaxy (GAL), a Web3 credential data network.“

Binance Launchpool, the exchange’s staking protocol, added Project Galaxy as the 30th project.

KuCoin, a crypto exchange based in the Seychelles, and FTX, a renowned crypto exchange based in the Bahamas, both listed the project.

According to the network’s website, Project Galaxy promises to create “a collaborative credential infrastructure that empowers marketers to build better communities and products in Web3.”
