Crypto Investors Flock to This New Play-to-Earn Game Because of Its Unique Features

Crypto investors and gamers are flocking to Calvaria: Duels of Eternity, a play-to-earn NFT battle card game.

Players use character cards to compete in tournaments in Calvaria, an afterlife-themed realm with three factions. When played, each character’s 3D model and abilities come to life on the battlefield.

The game, which uses the Polygon Network to create an immersive play-to-earn and NFT trading experience, raised $2.25 million in its presale with 27% of tokens left.

In Calvaria, tournament winners receive tokens, upgrades, and NFT character cards. The game’s native token, $RIA, encourages active play and powers its economy. Players can buy in-game items or trade them on secondary markets with $RIA tokens.

A free-to-play app store version and a play-to-earn model with all blockchain functions are being developed by the team. Technical barriers should not deter non-crypto users. According to the project’s white paper, the team has developed strategies to make the free version both an incentive to go deeper into the play-to-earn version and an educational tool to convert non-crypto users.

The free-to-play version will give players a taste of the gameplay and show them the huge reward potential while hooking them into an addictive strategy-based community based on a real-world trading economy.

NFT collectibles will also be used as currency. These tokens will give owners an advantage over competitors. Like all NFTs, these collection pieces are owned by the player who bought them, allowing collectors to sell them on OpenSea and Raible.

Calvaria will also have game modes for players who want to cooperate, collect currency and assets, or finish the single-player campaign.

Calvaria’s competitive and strategic gameplay involves smart card choices, playing order, positioning, and upgrades.

Players earn $RIA tokens for playing, which encourages them to play more. Calvaria will also introduce its own internal Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) with a unique governance and staking system that allows non-playing users to earn rewards by voting and making decisions.

Players own their resources and assets, making this game unique. Players can buy and sell resources in-game and outside of it to support their strategy.

Calvaria: DoE is a deeply strategic game where every play matters and each card has a unique role. It promises to be one of the most engaging games on the market, attracting new gamers to the cryptoverse with its free-to-play version, unique play-to-earn features, collectible assets, and ever-changing metagame.
