Eric Adams New York-Elect Mayor Wants Crypto Taught In schools

New York Mayor-Elect Eric Adams confirms he wants schools to add cryptocurrency studies into their curricula.

Furthermore, Eric Adams while speaking during a Nov. 7 interview with CNN’s State of the Union describes cryptocurrency as
“a new way of paying for goods and services throughout the entire globe,”

Them, Eric Adams goes on to encourage local schools to train students for
“the new way of thinking”. Which of course, is through blockchain technology and digital assets.

“We must open our schools to teach the technology, to teach this new way of thinking.”

“When I talked about blockchain and Bitcoins, young people on the street stopped and asked me, ‘What is that?’”

Then, Eric Adams adds.

Additionally, He then reveals plans to encourage New York businesses. Particularly, to accept Bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptocurrencies as a form of payment.

Also, Eric goes on to say he will “tread carefully” and “get it right.”

Notably, The mayor-elect Eric Adams explains how New York will remain a
“centre of innovation, no matter what that innovation is.”
