A committee by junior minister of finance Jayant Sinha will host a meeting with the top cryptocurrency stakeholders in the country on November 15.
Notably, This committee by Junior minister of finance will help the main function in crypto in the country’s finance. Also, it will have impact on the Indian economy.
Furthermore, the government is now taking note of what’s happening in the Crypto and finance space of the country. More so, For the first time ever, government officials decides to have official meeting with the top stakeholders in the industry. This of course, includes the crypto exchanges in the country. Then, this is a good finance development an signs of goodwill.
More so, The meeting’s scheduled is for November 15 and will happen at the Lok Sabha, the lower house of parliament.
Also, The topic of the meeting is
“Hearing of the views of associations, industry experts on the subject of ‘CryptoFinance’: Opportunities and challenges,”
While, also it will be led by Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance.
Additionally, Meeting attendees includes representatives from the India Internet and Mobile Association (IAMAI) Blockchain. Of course, also Crypto Assets Council (BACC). Which includes some of the top crypto exchanges of India, like WazirX, CoinDCX, CoinSwitch Kuber and others.
Lastly, before now, the exchanges keeps functioning on self-regulatory guidelines. More so, as they are handles by the BACC board, which insists on total compliance with all the players in the industry.
Also, the government still have no officials stance on Cryptocurrency in India.
