Kommunitas launch its new IKO – ARENUM

Kommunitas

The Arenum ($ARN) Private Sale on Kommunitas

In January 2022, the decentralized launchpad Kommunitas hosted a private sale for Arenum, a play-to-earn (P2E) mobile eSports platform. The event provided an early-stage investment opportunity for Kommunitas community partners and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to acquire the native $ARN token.

About Arenum: A Mobile eSports Gaming Platform

Arenum is a “Gaming-as-a-Service” platform designed for the competitive mobile gaming market. It provides an ecosystem where players can compete in skill-based tournaments across a variety of popular mobile games to earn crypto rewards. The platform aims to be the leading destination for mobile eSports, enabling both players and developers to monetize their skills and products in a decentralized environment.

Private Sale Details (January 2022)

The private sale on Kommunitas was structured with clear terms, featuring a long-term vesting schedule designed to encourage a stable and sustainable market for the token post-launch.

Token Sale & Vesting Schedule

  • Sale Start Date: January 19, 2022
  • Token Symbol: $ARN
  • Private Sale Price: $0.1875 USDC
  • Total Supply: 100,000,000 $ARN
  • Vesting Schedule: The token release was structured for a gradual, long-term distribution:
    1. An initial 10% of tokens were unlocked at the Token Generation Event (TGE).
    2. This was followed by a 1-month cliff (a lock-up period where no additional tokens are released).
    3. After the cliff, 4.5% of the tokens were distributed each month for the subsequent 20 months.

Whitelist Participation Rules

Kommunitas employed its standard, structured approach to ensure a fair and orderly sale process for its partners.

  • The “Booster 1” Requirement: Whitelisted addresses were guaranteed an allocation but were required to purchase it during the first round of the sale, known as “Booster 1.” Missing this initial window meant forfeiting the spot.

  • Payment Method: All purchases had to be made using USDC on the Polygon network.

  • Wallet Strategy: It was recommended that participants already staking $KOM use a separate, non-staking wallet for the whitelist. This allowed them to secure their whitelist purchase in Booster 1 while still being eligible to participate in other sale rounds with their primary staking wallet.

  • Approval Process: All whitelist spots were subject to final approval by the Kommunitas and Arenum teams.
