Paypal Announces Global PYUSD Hackathon
The Paypal Tech Blog Team announced the inaugural Global PYUSD Portal Hackathon on Tuesday.

Hackathon participants can compete for several prestigious awards, including a grand prize of 15,000 PYUSD.
Other prizes include a 10,000 PYUSD runner-up award, 5,000 PYUSD for innovation, and three 3,500 PYUSD awards for popular choice, top consumer application, and the best decentralized finance (defi) and trading application. The team clarified:
The Global PYUSD Portal Hackathon will distribute 40,000 PYUSD in prizes to 6 hackathon winners.
This initiative emphasizes the benefits of using PYUSD on Solana, including low-cost, confidential, and customizable transactions, making it an attractive choice for digital payments.
