Regal, a subsidiary of Cineworld Group, is partnering with digital payments network Flexa. Of course, this allows customers to make payments for movie tickets, popcorn and more with cryptocurrencies in its theaters.
Furthermore, Regal will accept cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Dogecoin. Also, stablecoins like Dai, USD Coin and Gemini Dollar. Then, digital tokens like LINK and ATOM, among others.
More so, Regal operates about 7,000 screens in more than 500 theaters across the U.S.

Then, Flexa’s guarantees a settlement, flexible integration options, fraud-proof architecture. Also, with extensive currency and payment options. Which of course, can address the challenges currently stopping mass adoption of digital assets.
Lastly, Regal announcement is coming just weeks after its rival AMC Theatres enables crypto payments for its theater chain.
As for now, AMC accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin. Then, it adds Bitcoin Cash and Shiba Inu for payments.
