Shibu Inu ($SHIB) Suggests New Partnership with Luxury Brand Bugatti Group Will Soon be Revealed

According to a tweet from the Shiba Inu ecosystem’s social media account, a new partnership between the meme-inspired cryptocurrency and the North American luxury brand Bugatti Group will be announced soon.

The Shib account hinted at “an upcoming event announcement in the next few days” in a tweet shared with its over 3.6 million followers on the microblogging platform, along with a short video shoring various shiboshis in briefcases, luggage bags, handbags, and accessories. It tagged Bugatti Group’s official social media account.

Shiboshis are non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that are unique to the Shiba Inu ecosystem and were introduced in October 2022. Shib’s tweet comes just days after the Bugatti Group announced its first-ever NFT projects, which will be launched in November 2022 in collaboration with the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT collection.

By investing in a new facility outfitted with advanced technology and machinery, the Montreal-based luxury brand partnered with BAYC to print one-of-a-kind NFTs onto luggage and crossbody bags, and soon on the websites of international retailers.

Bugatti Group CEO Andrew Hattem stated at the time that the company is always looking for new ways to push the envelope and that Web 3 is at the forefront of contemporary culture. Its announcement at the time was as follows:

This modern patented technology will also allow NFT holders to print their custom profile pictures on said products and soon on international retailers’ websites.

According to reports, the SHIBArmy was adding around 600 new holders per day in December, despite the ongoing crypto bear market. The figure is down from around 1,500 new wallets holding $SHIB earlier this year, as the cryptocurrency market slowdown has also impacted trading volumes and retail investors’ interest in the space.
