This incident raises concerns about potential phishing and scam risks for users.
The protocol has issued a warning to avoid interacting with the compromised domain and has urged users to revoke any permissions previously granted to the site.
Efforts are underway to blacklist the domain and prevent further damage.
The breach follows recent criticism of Sanctum’s CLOUD token airdrop strategy, which aimed to reward long-term commitment but led to community dissatisfaction.
The project’s co-founder acknowledged that while some goals were achieved, the airdrop fell short of fostering positive community engagement.
