Next weekend is the Formula One Miami Grand Prix, which will feature F1 Ethereum NFTs. In collaboration with F1 Team Mercedes, FTX is scheduled to unleash a slew of new NFTs in both premium action and free-to-claim forms.
With FTX, an F1 team speeds things up.
F1 Team Mercedes-AMG Petronas and the FTX crypto platform announced their alliance today, as well as the availability of their unique and selected NFT collectibles at the Miami Grand Prix and other upcoming racing events this season.
The big launch of 1,000 limited edition free-to-claim NFT ticket stubs for people who want to see the NFT launch happening at the Miami Grand Prix and other races this year is on the horizon for FTX and F1 fans.
Other high-octane events will receive up to 2,500 free NFT ticket stubs. To please fans, the complimentary stub collectibles will each have a unique and uncommon design.
FTX is also considering alternative ways to expand the number of NFT applications for stub holders.
10 Limited-Edition F1 NFTs by Mad Dog Jones
For these racing events, FTX and the F1 team have teamed up with Mad Dog Jones, a well-known artist who will be auctioning off over ten exclusive limited edition Ethereum NFT artworks.
Two of the Mad Dog Jones NFT artworks include an actual rear wing end plate from the Mercedes cars piloted by daredevils George Russel and Lewis Hamilton.
The goal of the F1 Ethereum NFT launch in Miami, according to Lou Frangella, FTX VP of Partnerships. Of course, is to combine culture, art, and Formula One into one magnificent event.
They truly want to make it big in Miami, and with this one-of-a-kind lineup, it’s almost certain to happen.
The NFT Auction will begin on May 6th.
On May 6, bidding for the F1 NFT event will open, coinciding with the start of practice for the Miami Grand Prix. The auctions will continue through May 13th.
Meanwhile, FTX and F1 will organize a physical NFT gallery where attendees will be able to see and feel the artworks in person after seeing the fast-and-furious version on the tracks.
Aside from the flash and glam of this NFT event, earnings from the F1 NFT sale will benefit Ignite, a motorsport inclusion and diversity program co-founded with F1 Hamilton’s Mission44 Foundation.
