BlockBar, a non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace for premium liquor brands, has teamed up with whiskey distiller Monkey Shoulder to create a line of limited-edition collectibles for members of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) and BlockBar NFT holders.
10 BAYC owners will be entered into a lottery to have their personal Bored Apes stamped on the 100 Monkey Shoulder limited edition bottles in exchange for royalties.
BlockBar has also created 1,500 Monkey Shoulder bottles with Bored Ape NFT from the marketplace.
From May 5, Bored Ape members may get their first NFT for free from the 1,500 bottle collection, while BlockBar members can get theirs at a 50% discount.
The rest of the collection will be available for public trading on May 12 for 0.2 ETH (US$600), which will grant holders access to BlockBar events and special items.
BlockBar has been onboarding premium booze companies to NFTs, most recently announcing collaborations with Ardbeg and The Dalmore, two Scottish liquor brands.
