Corrections Policy

Last updated: 8 September 2026

BitcoinWorld aims to be accurate. When we are not, we fix the error promptly and transparently.

How to report an error

If you believe an article contains a factual error, email [email protected] with the subject line “Correction request”. Please include the article URL, the passage you believe is wrong, and, where possible, a source that supports the correction. Requests are reviewed by the responsible editor, Keshav Aggarwal, or a member of the editorial team acting on his behalf.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge correction requests within two business days.
  • If the error is confirmed, the article is corrected and a note is added at the end of the article stating what was changed and when.
  • Significant errors, such as a wrong figure in a headline or a misattributed statement, are also noted at the top of the article.
  • If we cannot confirm the error, we will explain why.

What we do not change

We do not remove articles because a subject dislikes accurate coverage, and we do not rewrite history silently. Where an article is substantially updated with new information, the update is marked with a date.

Removed content

In September 2026 we removed a large volume of syndicated articles from the site, as described in our Editorial Policy. Those URLs now return a “not found” response. If you arrived at a missing page from an external link, that is why.
