Gucci Signs Up for the Metaverse and Buys Sandbox Land

Gucci establishes the Gucci Vault Metaverse as the first significant fashion and luxury brand to purchase virtual real estate on Sandbox.

Gucci, a high-end fashion and apparel company, has reserved online space on Sandbox for its Gucci Vault Metaverse. The first well-known high-end fashion and accessory company to build a world on Sandbox is Gucci. Gucci Vault, an experimental space for NFTs, vintage items like Gucci bags, and upcoming virtual developers in The Sandbox, was unveiled by the company.

The Gucci Vault Land will be open from today (October 27, 2022) to November 9, this year, while the Metaverse is currently under beta testing. The Vault will not require an NFT ticket to enter.

The recently established Vault will act as the focal point for all of Gucci’s Web3 and “multiverse” projects, showcasing curated NFT masterpieces, the company’s famous pieces that will be on display but not for sale as well as its community, garden idea, and past NFTs.

Users will embark on an adventure after entering the realm through a “Garden of Curiosities.” The location will also make learning about Gucci’s history and products enjoyable.
