Illuvium Ethereum Token Surges After Epic Games Store Listing

  • Lavish Immutable X game Illuvium is coming to the Epic Games Store, and the news fueled a spike in the ILV token price.

The upcoming NFT game Illuvium is set to premiere on the Epic Games Store. The token for the game, called Illuvium, has seen a significant increase in value since its early Wednesday release.

Ahead of its November 28 launch for the game’s Beta 3: Arena test, which will center on player-versus-player (PVP) action, Illuvium is now available for purchase on the Epic Games Store. Through the well-known PC gaming marketplace, the beta will be released.

According to Coinstats data, the price of the Illuvium (ILV) token on Ethereum surged rapidly upon hearing that the company was joining the well-known PC gaming marketplace, which had 230 million members as of the end of 2022.

As of this writing, the price has now leveled off at $75.50, but that still represents a 17% increase over the previous day and a 94% increase over the past 30 days.

Illuvium is an action fantasy game that runs on the Ethereum scaling network Immutable X. It has both an auto-battler competitive mode and an open-world adventure. Virtual land plots are one of the NFTs used in the game; in June 2022, a sale of these NFTs brought in $72 million in purchases.
