Japan Giants Huboi Open Voting For Users To Select New Cryptocurrency

Japan giants Huboi has opened voting system for users to select which new cryptocurrency they want. The voting will be closed before August 16.

Huboi said the Japan-based exchange is considering adding Enjin (ENJ), IOS Token (IOST), Neo (NEO), Ontology (ONT), Qtum (QTUM), and Tezos (XTZ).

It is understood that the users have started to vote on the platform about which token they want since July 16. According to media reports, users are granted one vote per account every Friday for a maximum of five votes. Voting will end at midnight on August 16.

Huboi said that they will take into consideration the token which earns the most votes. However, they are not ready to give any sort of guarantee.

“Three of the tokens which may be listed on Huobi are based in China. The IOST platform rivals the Ethereum blockchain while its token revolves around the Internet of Services (IoS). The coins can be used for payments on the IOST platform and fees for smart contracts,” a Cointelegraph report said.

“NEO is a public blockchain project that can incorporate digital IDs and smart contracts, while ONT provides blockchain solutions for businesses,” the report added.

At the moment Huboi offers seven digital currency.

These include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), and MonaCoin (MONA).
