According to a recent Twitter statement, Bitso, the main Mexican cryptocurrency exchange, has introduced support for meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin.
The price of DOGE hasn’t changed as a result of the announcement, and it’s now trading at $0.1299.
The exchange has made it clear that it would exclusively support Dogecoin-based tokens.
In January, it added support for Shiba Inu, a competitor meme coin.
After raising $250 million last year, the exchange became America’s first bitcoin unicorn.
By the end of the year, Bitso wants to be the most popular cryptocurrency exchange in Brazil.
