According to reports, the Nigerian government intends to teach more than 30,000 individuals about blockchain technology. The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), which will deliver the training, wants to speed the uptake of the technology and establish Nigeria as a key player in the blockchain market.
The announcement, according to a report by Radio Nigeria, was made by Kashifu Inuwa, director-general of NITDA, who urged Nigerians to utilize the scholarships that have been made available for this purpose. Inuwa added that the government’s initiative to train a large number of Nigerians is intended to make sure they are early solution providers in the fourth industrial revolution.
According to the report, students from all 36 states in Nigeria would receive instruction through NITDA’s training program. The report states that graduates of the course will have the chance to participate in a London incubation program. It is said that more people will become acquainted with the Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BSV) ecosystem.
The co-founder of NITDA’s blockchain training program partner, Mohammed Jega, is said to have reaffirmed the organization’s dedication to providing excellent education and equipping participants with the ability to construct real-life blockchain solutions.
