“officially adopted bitcoin as legal tender”.


Furthermore, The Prime Minister’s Office clarifies the air by saying immediately that the account is now secure. Of course, already the isseu has received much attention from the Twitter community.

“The Twitter handle of PM @narendramodi was very briefly compromised…”
“The matter was escalated to Twitter and the account has been immediately secured…”
“In the brief period that the account was compromised, any Tweet shared must be ignored,”

So, the account says.

Notably, This is not the first time time hackers are targeting prominent politician’s social media accounts.

Lastly, In September 2020, when the handle of PM Modi’s personal website was hacke. Of course, the hacker tweeting Bitcoin promotion with links to a scam, as it is @narendramodi_in.
