Guy Turner, the presenter of Coin Bureau and a well-known cryptocurrency analyst, has released a video explaining his current altcoin investment plan. This approach entails investing in a number of different altcoins, including as Polkadot ($DOT), Cardano ($ADA), and others.
Turner indicated in the newly circulated video that he intends to add the two leading digital assets listed above, along with Avalanche ($AVAX), which just announced a significant agreement to help it onboard 50 million users, Cosmos ($ATOM), and Monero ($XMR), to his portfolio.
He addressed in the video how he intends to distribute the more than one-third of his portfolio that is presently held in the well-known stablecoin USDC, stating that he is closely monitoring the altcoin market and that he is considering a number of such currencies.
He did, however, admit that he now owns DOT and ATOM and is thinking about investing additional assets to them because of their bright futures. He also indicated desire in expanding his exposure to layer-1 tokens like ADA in order to diversify his portfolio.
I may buy back into Avalanche at some time, he said. Simply said, I’ve never quite timed my entry into AVAX well enough, but maybe this time I’ll succeed.
The YouTuber listed the privacy-focused cryptocurrency Monero as a prospective investment while discussing other altcoins, but added that there are “plenty and lots of various alts that I’m going to be looking at.”
He did, however, issue a warning against entering the altcoin market at the present time, given the state of the industry. The cryptocurrency researcher did add that as prices decline, he also intends to add additional BTC and ETH.
DOT, a blockchain network that is sometimes referred to as a “blockchain of blockchains,” has retained its position as the top cryptocurrency network by development activity, according to CryptoGlobe. It is followed by Cardano, a platform for smart contracts, and its pre-production network Kusama (ADA).
It’s important to note that development activity is a statistic evaluating development activity in projects’ public GitHub repositories and excludes work done in private repositories.
Prior to Internet Computer ($ICP), Decentraland ($MANA), Ethereum ($ETH), and Cosmos ($ATOM), Cardano ($CAD) was ranked third. The top 10 also included the cryptocurrencies Status ($SNT), Vega Protocol ($VEGA), and Filecoin ($FIL).
