TRON Founder and CEO Justin Sun is likely to launch wrapped version of Bitcoin on his platform. He hinted about the same while responding to a tweet which asked him to transfer some of the TRX bullish energy to Bitcoin.
“Yes! Definitely! We will launch $BTC on #TRON very soon! Actually we need the energy from #Bitcoin community,” Justin Sun tweeted.
The development follows after Tron (TRX) seemed to escape from yesterday’s crypto-market sell-off that saw Bitcoin drop to as low as $9,970 – Binance rate.
A day before a member of the TRON community Mike McCarthy requested him to bring Ethereum’s value to the TRX ecosystem.
The request came after the fees for Ethereum gas soared high after high transaction activity brought about by DeFi.
