Warner Music is all set to take part in The Sandbox metaverse

Warner Music Group (WMG), a record label conglomerate, has stated that it will construct a music-themed digital world called The Sandbox metaverse.

On Thursday, WMG announced its cooperation with The Sandbox, broadening the music label’s foray into non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and the metaverse.
The Sandbox is a division of Animoca Brands, a blockchain unicorn with high-profile relationships with Snoop Dogg, Adidas, and CryptoKitties.
WMG’s foray into the metaverse could open up new avenues for fan connection and virtual entertainment for artists.
According to WMG’s chief digital officer Oana Ruxandra. That’s, the new virtual environment named Warner Music Group LAND would function as a mix of a music theme park. Then, and a concert venue.

In March 2022, music fans will be able to buy digital real estate in the form of NFTs called LAND. That’s, which will be located next to WMG’s virtual park.
